A year ago today Chris' brother Gentry passed away. We all miss him so much. We love you G! Here is his obituary and a few pictures...
Gentry Jon Bauer "G" "True to the Ones I Love" We have lost a radiant light in our lives. Gentry Jon Bauer left behind an adoring group of family and friends on February 5, 2007. Gentry was born in Salt Lake City on Oct. 1, 1977 to Linda Mattsson Blake and Jon Bauer. He spent his childhood years playing basketball and soccer, spending time at his family's cabin in Torrey, Utah, and delighting his family with his exploits and practical jokes, mainly at the expense of his older brother Cade. He attended Skyline High School where he formed the band Hospital Food with his friends Chris, Luke and Steve. The band ultimately recorded two CD's and was signed with New School Records, which produced the CD "Medicate." Some of Gentry's favorite experiences were the band's tours through the western United States. Gentry was a gifted drummer and the great passion in his life was music, both listening and performing. Gentry had a very special relationship with his grandparents (The Two Big Gs). His experiences with them were among the most significant of his lifetime. Gentry loved to travel and loved experiencing the vibrance and energy of big cities. He spent many happy summer vacations at Lake Powell and Torrey. At the time of his death Gentry was the manager of The Pie in Midvale, Utah. Gentry's heart and soul will forever reside within the loving relationships he built during his life. We will miss him forever. Gentry leaves behind his parents Jon Bauer and Linda and Ed Blake; brothers Kincade (Janelle) Bauer, Chris (Jenny) Blake, and Adam Blake; grandparents Duane and Twila Mattsson, Thelma Bauer and Bob and Velma Blake; special aunts Kelly (Rick) Valleley and Katrina Raphaell and uncle Lane Mattsson; cousins Sim, Shanda, Payton and Dahlia; and the love of his life, Heather Bosen. Kiss, kiss, kiss, love, love, love, hug, hug, hug - I love you the most INFINITY. Mom Little did I know how deep you would run and the complexity and tenderness of your soul when I first looked into your eyes the day you were born. I wish I could have held your hand more often and been with you at the end of your journey, but be assured, Gentry, you will be with me and I with you forever and always. Save me a place - it will be the best seat in the house (the one by the drummer). I love you, Dad. G I have lost my brother and my best friend. I am so proud of all that you accomplished in your life and so thankful for all the laughs, smiles, jokes, and music I could share with you. A trip to NYC or Powell, our family dinners, and every holiday will never be the same. I cannot fathom a life without you and I will miss you so dearly. I love you G. Cade Goodnight my love, my snuggle bug, I'll find you in my dreams. I love you pumpkin. Heath G, I will miss our talks about great music and your ability to make me laugh. You are loved by many. Ed G, my love for you is timeless and true and I will miss you every minute of every day for as long as I live. Kelly Goodbye, my Gentry. We love you. Grandma and Grandpa Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12:00 p.m., February 10, 2007 at Garner Funeral Home, 1001 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City. The family will greet friends on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune from 2/8/2007 - 2/9/2007.

Here are some pictures of Auntie Heather and Bailey with their Bling! Heather was in L.A.
for Christmas so we all got together for dinner a few weeks ago and she opened her presents. She got this cute mirror that had tons of crystals on it, just like Bailey's binky. So of course we had to have a photo shoot with these two! SOOOO cute! We love you Heather!

Well since today is a complete white out blizzard we are having a jammie day!!! It's going to be a fun day of wearing our jammies all day, watching movies, playing games and making grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, and hot chocolate . Right now, since Bailey boo is napping, I thought I should catch up on my blog! In the past few weeks Bailey has had many fun play dates with my friends and their babes, a new little tooth coming in so lots of crying and wanting to be held by mommy all the time! (Who can complain about that!) Chris and I have had a lot of game nights at our house with a lot of our pals. We love a good game of pictionary: guy's vs. girls and of course the girls always win. I even had a night out on the town with some of my girlies~ We went out to dinner at Hoppers followed by dancing at Green Street. We had so much fun! Chris, Bailey and I were supposed to go to St. George this past weekend with our buddies Dave, Tiff, their son Kalon, Nick, Tracy and their daughter Brooklyn, but poor Chris has come down with the most horrible flu. So he has been home sick since last Wednesday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that me and B don't get it! It was a good thing we didn't go to St. George though because we would have been driving home in this horrible storm and if you know me, you know how TERRIFIED I get driving in the snow. I just pray our friends are all safe on their way back. That drive can be so scarry when it is snowing! Just ask Adam, Lisa, and Chris about the time we went to mesquite for my 21st birthday and I thought there was a wall in the middle of the freeway because it was snowing so hard! I screamed as loud as I could and terrified all of them. Anyway this weekend My flight was booked for me and Bailey to go to home to California next month for a week and a half! Yeah! I am so excited to see all of my family! I get to be there for Vauri's baby shower!! I missed her shower for Owen because I was working at the time and couldn't get the time off. I can't wait. This will be the first time flying BY MYSELF with Bailey so we will see how that goes. Anyway here are some fun pictures! I have been trying to upload a few videos but its not letting me so I will try later.
I am so happy Bailey loves books. I read to her every day and she just loves it so much. She changes the pages and has to look at all the pictures. Here she is in her room reading...
What a cutie!
My aunt Susan got Bailey this adorable Bookshelf that looks like a doll house for Christmas. We picked it out at pottery barn kids and I could not love it more! I think it looks so cute in her room and when she is older it can double as a Barbie house.

We went out to dinner with our friends Dave, Tiffany, and Dave Brown and his wife Shiree. Shiree is going to have a baby any second. I don't know how I managed to not get a picture of her. She looks so cute about to pop! Here are Dave and Tiff at dinner .
Me and Tiff
Here are some pictures of our Girl's night! We had so much fun talking and dancing! Here is Me, Candice, Jen, Danielle, and Kayla...
Candice, Me and Danielle on the dance floor! I love these girls so much!

Kayla getting her groove on! (What a HOT mama!)
Me and Candice! This girl is like a sister to me, I love her so much! Her little girl Madi and Bailey are three weeks apart!

Oh my gosh I am so sorry I have totally been lagging in the blogging department! Life is absolutely crazy lately, but so fun. I can't believe how much I love being a mom. It has completely changed my world and I could not be happier! Last weekend we went to Bailey's little friend Ayla's first birthday and of course Bailey had a blast! She seriously loves little kids she just beams with joy when she is around them. I can't believe Ayla is one now...Bailey is next in March and I swear it seems like just yesterday all of us mommy's were all pregnant together! It is crazy how fast time goes!
Ayla got a wagon for her birthday and the girls loved it!
I just had to take this picture of Bailey crawling in her skirt, I just think it is the cutest picture!
Bailey LOVES Ayla's cousin Rylie and Rylie loved holding Bailey! :)
The next day Chris and I were in the mood for some swimming, so we headed over to the community indoor swimming pool. Bailey wasn't so sure she liked the pool. It was weird too because I took her a lot in the summer and she loved it. I guess it just has been too long or something. She would hold onto us as tight as she could. It was really cute. We decided we are going to sign her up for some swimming lessons in the spring so she will love the water like her Mommy and Daddy!

Here is a video of Bailey boo in the swimming pool~so adorable!

Here are some cute pictures from the last couple of days. I met my friend Danielle for coffee and shopping and she brought Bailey's boyfriend Tristin with her. They had so much fun together. Tristin would run and hide from Bailey and she would crawl after him and they would laugh, it was so cute!
Bailey loves this toy she got she laughs at herself in the mirror.
She is so cute!
I love her big cheesy smile!
Me being a nerd and Bailey is not really sure what is going on...
Bailey is so close to walking its not even funny! The other day I was folding her laundry and she started pushing her hamper around. By the time I got my camera she was pretty much over it, but I managed to get a little video of it. She is so cute I just can't get over it!
