I can't believe it!!!

Today I decided to go through Bailey's clothes and box up all the cute little outfits that no longer fit. I can't believe she is growing so fast. I have to be honest it makes me really sad :(! I feel like she is growing up way too fast. It's like I just blinked and she is all of the sudden sitting up on her own and scooting herself to get to her toys. She is so close to crawling and gaining her own independence. With all of this emotion I just had to browse through our pictures from when she was just born and I thought I would share these with all of you!

Here is the new fam right when Bailey was born. Thanks to Dr. Yamashiro for the first family photo. HAHA I look like I had just been in labor for 17 hours and pushed for an hour and a half!! This was such an amazing moment. This is a day I will never forget when I met my little love for the first time! She was so perfect and everything we hoped for! Chris with Bailey. I love this picture you can see the emotion on his face. He is such a great Daddy. Bailey has him wrapped around his finger and is definitely Daddy's little girl.
Nothing is better than the first time you hold your little baby. Yes I was exhausted but this was such an amazing moment! When her little eyes looked into mine for the first time I just melted and I will NEVER be the same!
I almost forgot about her cute little crossed eyes that she always had those first couple of weeks! This doesn't even look like her now how crazy is that!
Her precious little hands!!! Lisa and I were just saying yesterday that we can't believe how big her hands are now! The are getting so big and chunky! And she sure does have a strong grasp now.
I totally miss her sleeping like this! I definitely don't miss the lack of sleep that I had when she was this little though! She is now sleeping completely through the night! We are so lucky she has been doing that since she was a month old!

Home sick...

We are all sick here at the Blake home but that doesn't mean Bailey isn't as cute as ever! Here she is playing with my makeup. It's funny we can buy her as many toys as we can but her favorites will always be the remote controls, cell phones, cameras and mommy's makeup! Thank God they make disinfectant wipes because I have to use them onh EVERYTHING...
One great part about everyone being sick is that we have our fam home with us all day long and I get lots of help taking care of Bailey...here she is playing with her Auntie Lisa while I went shopping for some soup.
Our friend Brock came by to get in the hot tub and watch a movie. For those of you who don't know Brock was in a horrible motorcycle accident and became paralyzed from the waist down. He is actually walking and can move both of his legs which is so amazing! We are so proud of Brock and he is such an inspiration. Here Chris is playing on Brock's wheel chair doing wheelies. Once again he is such a kid at heart! :)
One of my favorite things about Fall is all the yummy food so of course I had to go to the store and get some of my favorite gala apples. Chris insisted that Bailey try some and she absolutely LOVED it. I had to pry it out of her hands!
I love these pictures of her! She keeps bending over like this and then flips her legs out and
ends up on her tummy... I think she is going to be crawling soon. We are in for it!

Family Reunion

Last weekend was Chris' family's annual reunion. We had such a great time being with Chris' parents and grandparents. We have this reunion every year. Every year Grandma Velma and her sisters tell stories about growing up. We love hearing all her stories. She is so cute! While we were at the park there was a swing set and since Bailey can sit up now we had Bailey go on the swing. It was so cute although I was scared half to death!!!Here is an adorable picture of Grandma Linda swinging with Bailey. This was Bailey's first time on an actual swing set.
Chris is such a kid at heart. This is why I love him so much and why he is such a great Dad. Here he is playing on the swing set.

New to this!

Since I live so far from my family I have decided to start a blog so they can see what is going on in our very busy lives! I am going to try to update like once a week with pics and maybe videos of the week. Gosh our lives sure are crazy now that little Bailey has come along! She is 6 months old now and I can't believe how fast the time has gone! She recently has become obsessed with drinking from mommies cup... so we had to catch it on video here it is...this is super cute!
