what color are you?

Take this test!

You're green, the color of growth and vigor. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth color in the spectrum — reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your color!

Stay home snow day!

Well since today is a complete white out blizzard we are having a jammie day!!! It's going to be a fun day of wearing our jammies all day, watching movies, playing games and making grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, and hot chocolate . Right now, since Bailey boo is napping, I thought I should catch up on my blog! In the past few weeks Bailey has had many fun play dates with my friends and their babes, a new little tooth coming in so lots of crying and wanting to be held by mommy all the time! (Who can complain about that!) Chris and I have had a lot of game nights at our house with a lot of our pals. We love a good game of pictionary: guy's vs. girls and of course the girls always win. I even had a night out on the town with some of my girlies~ We went out to dinner at Hoppers followed by dancing at Green Street. We had so much fun! Chris, Bailey and I were supposed to go to St. George this past weekend with our buddies Dave, Tiff, their son Kalon, Nick, Tracy and their daughter Brooklyn, but poor Chris has come down with the most horrible flu. So he has been home sick since last Wednesday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that me and B don't get it! It was a good thing we didn't go to St. George though because we would have been driving home in this horrible storm and if you know me, you know how TERRIFIED I get driving in the snow. I just pray our friends are all safe on their way back. That drive can be so scarry when it is snowing! Just ask Adam, Lisa, and Chris about the time we went to mesquite for my 21st birthday and I thought there was a wall in the middle of the freeway because it was snowing so hard! I screamed as loud as I could and terrified all of them. Anyway this weekend My flight was booked for me and Bailey to go to home to California next month for a week and a half! Yeah! I am so excited to see all of my family! I get to be there for Vauri's baby shower!! I missed her shower for Owen because I was working at the time and couldn't get the time off. I can't wait. This will be the first time flying BY MYSELF with Bailey so we will see how that goes. Anyway here are some fun pictures! I have been trying to upload a few videos but its not letting me so I will try later.

I am so happy Bailey loves books. I read to her every day and she just loves it so much. She changes the pages and has to look at all the pictures. Here she is in her room reading...What a cutie!
My aunt Susan got Bailey this adorable Bookshelf that looks like a doll house for Christmas. We picked it out at pottery barn kids and I could not love it more! I think it looks so cute in her room and when she is older it can double as a Barbie house.

We went out to dinner with our friends Dave, Tiffany, and Dave Brown and his wife Shiree. Shiree is going to have a baby any second. I don't know how I managed to not get a picture of her. She looks so cute about to pop! Here are Dave and Tiff at dinner .

Here are some pictures of our Girl's night! We had so much fun talking and dancing! Here is Me, Candice, Jen, Danielle, and Kayla...Candice, Me and Danielle on the dance floor! I love these girls so much!

Ayla's first birthday and swimming!

Oh my gosh I am so sorry I have totally been lagging in the blogging department! Life is absolutely crazy lately, but so fun. I can't believe how much I love being a mom. It has completely changed my world and I could not be happier! Last weekend we went to Bailey's little friend Ayla's first birthday and of course Bailey had a blast! She seriously loves little kids she just beams with joy when she is around them. I can't believe Ayla is one now...Bailey is next in March and I swear it seems like just yesterday all of us mommy's were all pregnant together! It is crazy how fast time goes!

Ayla got a wagon for her birthday and the girls loved it!

I just had to take this picture of Bailey crawling in her skirt, I just think it is the cutest picture!Bailey LOVES Ayla's cousin Rylie and Rylie loved holding Bailey! :)
The next day Chris and I were in the mood for some swimming, so we headed over to the community indoor swimming pool. Bailey wasn't so sure she liked the pool. It was weird too because I took her a lot in the summer and she loved it. I guess it just has been too long or something. She would hold onto us as tight as she could. It was really cute. We decided we are going to sign her up for some swimming lessons in the spring so she will love the water like her Mommy and Daddy!

Here is a video of Bailey boo in the swimming pool~so adorable!

So close to walking!

Here are some cute pictures from the last couple of days. I met my friend Danielle for coffee and shopping and she brought Bailey's boyfriend Tristin with her. They had so much fun together. Tristin would run and hide from Bailey and she would crawl after him and they would laugh, it was so cute!
Bailey loves this toy she got she laughs at herself in the mirror.
She is so cute!
I love her big cheesy smile!
Me being a nerd and Bailey is not really sure what is going on...

Bailey is so close to walking its not even funny! The other day I was folding her laundry and she started pushing her hamper around. By the time I got my camera she was pretty much over it, but I managed to get a little video of it. She is so cute I just can't get over it!

Our little rock star!

Yesterday we went Ed and Linda's for dinner. Ed got a Wii for Christmas and they are officially addicted to guitar hero. Ed has this wig he wears when he is playing . How funny! We put it on Bailey and I think this is probably the funniest picture!!! I think she looks like a little hedgehog or something!

...Christmas...

Happy New Year everyone! Sorry it has been so long. After many people's requests to update the blog I am finally getting to it. I am just trying to get over a horrible cold I got right after New Years Eve. Here are the pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas. We had such a blast with Bailey. She didn't really get what was going on but she did LOVE her presents! Christmas Eve started out at my Aunt Susan's house. She has this party every year with my Uncle Kevin, Aunt Michelle, their kids and my cousins kids. It is pure madness but so much fun. The kids just run wild through the house. Bailey was kind of in shock by it and was very quiet just taking it in.

Here is our family...Grandma Julie, Aunt Ashley and Bailey
My cousin's daughter Chloe and B...
One of my other cousins daughter's that wanted to hold Bailey the whole time even though she is half her size! :)

Trying so hard to open her present!

After that we headed over to Ed and Linda's house for a party! We had such a fun time. Usually the party is much bigger with all of Ed's family, but Grandma and Grandpa Blake didn't make it up from St. George, so this year we just had a small family gathering which was so nice to just get together and talk and laugh! It was so hard not having Gentry with us this year.

CHRISTMAS!!!

We started Christmas off going to Ed and Linda's house. Then headed home to have my family come over and then Cindy and Bob came at night . It was definitely different staying home most of the day. We used to go to three different houses during the day then come home and get ready for Chris' birthday party. It was such a great day. Bailey loved every toy she got especially this doll. I think she thought it was real or something because when she was by it she would hug it and kiss it and shake her head like she always does when she is excited. Then that night everyone came over to celebrate Chris' 28th birthday! Man we are getting old! Just kidding! I didn't take very many pictures because I couldn't find my camera. :(
