Summer in Utah would not be complete without a Lagoon day. We went last weekend for Chris's work party. It was hot, exhausting, and tons of fun!

We tried to get Bailey into the roller coasters, but she was not having it this year. I went on the Tidal Wave with her and she was saying "Oh No! Oh No! I am going to have a heart attack!" Then burst into tears. :( So sweet but sad! She even hated Puff the magic dragon! If you look at these pictures the look on her face tells it all...
We will work on roller coasters next year when I can actually go on them with her. All in all she loved Lagoon and keeps asking to go back. She loved all the kiddie rides and of course winning the stuffed animals at the games!
See you next year Lagoon!

Kenny Chesney
Last Saturday Chris and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert. We had so much fun. It was the perfect night for a concert... warm with a little breeze. We met up with Lisa and Quin and sat with them which made it even more fun! My hormones are crazy and I cried during two of his songs. Haha... Chris looked at me like I was nuts! Chris likes country, but it isn't his favorite. I thought it was so sweet of him to take me to this concert! What a fun date night!

Dog Lake
Last Friday after Chris got off work we went on a hike up Millcreek Canyon to Dog Lake. Canyon rarely leaves our house, so Chris thought we should take him on a hike. I was very hesitant because he is not great with other dogs. He actually did so good and we even took him off his leash at the lake so he could go for a swim. We haven't taken Canyon swimming at a lake in about 5 years and he loved it. It was so cute. The hike was pretty much up hill the entire 1.8 miles to the lake so we went pretty slow. Canyon was out the whole rest of the weekend...I think we need to do this hike once a week to get him back in shape...he weighs 120 lbs!!! It was such a fun evening as a family!
At the trail head there were some horses and Bailey really wanted to pet them...look how little Canyon looks next to this horse!
Canyon swimming at Dog Lake...
Me, Bailey and Canyon headed back down the mountain...
Canyon was so excited that we weren't holding the leash on the way down he was so slow we didn't need to!

{4th of July}
We had such a fun filled 4th of July weekend. We went to Yuba Reservoir for camping and boating with our friends. {Didn't take any pictures there} It was a blast. Bailey did so good camping she played hard so at the end of the day she actually asked me to go to bed and then slept in way past us! Maybe we need to camp more often if that's how it's going to be! Bailey pretty much didn't sit down the entire time we were there. She was loving it! We were in a huge group site that was really great. We had 5 families there and lots of kids for her to play with. We spent a lot of time on Dave's boat, swimming in the lake, and they had a huge parking lot area so the kids spent a huge chunk of time riding on their scooter's and bikes as the parents chatted! Bailey became quite obsessed with everyone's razor scooters...she would barely touch her bike! We promised her that if she was good camping we would get her one when we got home. Right when we unpacked we went and got her a barbie one she really deserved it.
It was nice to be home on the 4th of July. We spent most of the day being lazy and recuperating from camping then headed over to Ed and Linda's house for a BBQ in the afternoon. So much fun to spend the 4th with family. At the end of the night we did a little fireworks with the kids. It was a nice and relaxing day!
Linda was holding Kinley (Bay's baby cousin) and Bailey asked if she could hold her. Linda said yes, but you have to wash your hands. Bailey ran as quick as she could and washed her hands and this is her sweet little face as she was getting to hold Kinley. I love how excited she is!
She will be such a great big sister! She loves babies.

I love her little face in the picture, she loved the fireworks.
