Bowling

Last month we went bowling with Lisa, Quin and their friends. We had so much fun! We used to go bowling here all the time with our friends but we haven't in quite some time I just didn't think Bailey would be into it. This was Bailey's first time and she loved it! We will definitely be returning soon.

I was tagged to post about my 6th picture in my 6th file....

This was taken on a camping trip in April 2007. It is of Tracy, Brooklyn (under the blanket,) Lisa, Me and Bailey at the Sand Dunes. Bailey was only a month old and I was breast feeding her! Haha! It is crazy how fast time flies!

So now......Mom, Lisa, Linda, Shanda, Janelle, Lindsay:

Bailey's first little snowman

Last week there was a huge snowstorm! We l*o*v*e the snow! (As long as I don't have to drive in it!) One of our favorite things to do during a snowstorm is bundle up on our couch and watch the snow fall. It is magical! We decided to build Bailey a snowman because she loves them so much... she is always wanting me to read her the "Snownun" book we have, and anytime we drive past a house with a snowman on the lawn she screams "Snownun!" It turned out that the snow wasn't exactly snowman-building-snow (I didn't even know that was possible) but we did it anyway. We just made a very small snowman just perfect for Bailey Boo!

Getting all bundled up...notice...We lost a glove so she has socks on one hand :)

CH-CH-CH-CHANGES

My blogging is totally pathetic. So here I go again trying to get back into it. Our life has been so crazy lately. In December I decided to register for school again. I am totally loving it! I am going to try to get into the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ultrasound) or nursing programs. I have always been interested in the medical field, and as I was doing my research for these programs, I discovered that I have almost all the prerequesets done! Thanks to my many years of going to school but changing my major constantly! :) I would really like to do ultrasounds the most, but I found out the school only accepts 16 students for the program every 2 years, so I decided to also prepare myself for the nursing program so I don't have all my eggs in one basket. It has worked out perfectly as far as getting someone to watch Bailey while I have class. Chris works from home for the most part, so he watches her if he can, if he has to meet with clients my amazing mother-in-laws have helped out and I think it is so good for Bailey to have special time with them.

Another HUGE change is Chris and I have started going back to church. We have been going for a little over 2 months. It is so nice to go again. Bailey really like going and meeting the kids her age.

Bailey is so fun and she is growing up so fast. I can't believe she will be two next month. Time seriously flies by! We got a membership to Cottonwood Heights Rec center for Christmas, we love it! We go swimming a couple times a week and we love watching Chris do all his crazy jumps off the high dive. Chris got a seasons pass to Park City ski resort so he is busy doing that lately, with the pass he got a few buddy passes so I will be joining him as well! We love snowboarding! I haven't gone since the winter before I got pregnant so I am a little worried I am going to totally suck but oh well it will still be fun! I am loving the snow this year. Bailey loves it as well and we have played in it a ton! We built a snowman with her and have taken her sledding. It is so fun to live in the snow but I have to admit I miss the California winter too! My Mom and Dad are always calling and rubbing it in that they are in 80 degree weather. We are planning another trip to see them next month. We had been planning on doing a joint birthday party for Bailey and Ava for a while now(Bailey turns 2 on March 8th and Ava turns 1 on March 14), and my school schedule worked out perfectly for when their birthdays are! I will be on spring break the week after Bailey's birthday so we will be going home to California for a 10 day vacation!!!! Can't wait! I cannot believe Bailey is going to be at the age where we have to pay for a plane ticket for her. Since we will be flying there the week after she turns two we had to pay FULL PRICE for her! Insane! I can't wait to get back to Disneyland with her. Since our last trip she is smitten over "Coco" for some reason that is her name for Minnie and Micky mouse. She has to sleep with Coco every night.

.:.Christmas Night.:.

Christmas night Ed and Linda got us a suite at the Iron Blossom Lodge at Snowbird and boarding passes the next day for a fun Christmas present. We seriously had so much fun. I don't know how many times I have said this but I really am so lucky to have such an amazing family. We have SO much fun together! We were planning on taking Bailey with us and trading off playing with her while the others ride but Chris and I were pretty sick so we thought she would probably have a better time with her Grandma Cindy. Soooo we ended up heading up the canyon around 6 during a snowstorm good thing our Nissan is awesome in the snow. Then we get to the parking lot and got stuck 2 times in the snow! And I mean really stuck. Actually every car in our group got stuck so by the time we got the our room everyone was ready to get the party started. We had a glass of wine while everyone got there and then went to dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Dinner was fabulous and we had a lot of laughts. Chris is a Christmas baby so for only the 2nd time in his life he was sung to at a restaurant on his bday. (The first time was when we went to my families house in California for Christmas in 05.) Then we headed back to the room and got suited up for the hot tub. The next day we woke up to the sound of guns shooting for avalanches and apparently there was a really big one headed for our hotel and the whole north side of the building was evacuated. By the time the mountain was safe enough to ride on we had decided we will just come up another time and just hang out that day. We headed over to lunch and then the guys all dugg out the cars. Then after we got down into the city Chris, Adam, Erin and I took our boards to this sledding hill by our house and practiced a little. We had a really fun time and we can't wait to actually go boarding!
